If Abe Lincoln was a politician today, he'd be a Democrat too....the Democrats and Republicans has essentially traded identities they held in 1860. I realize that was something you quoted and I couldn't find the original quote...but every time I hear someone remind me Abe Lincoln was a Republican in an effort to promote the "virtues" of the GOP, I laugh in their face.
